BMW MOT, servicing & repairs

We carry out Class 4 MOT tests for all BMW models. Common BMW MOT advisories include rear tyre wear from the wide performance rubber fitted to M-Sport models, and diesel particulate filter (DPF) warnings on older 2.0d and 3.0d engines. We check DPF health and carry out regeneration cycles before test if needed.

BMW uses a condition-based service (CBS) system that monitors oil quality, brake wear and other intervals electronically. Our diagnostic tools read and reset CBS counters on all current BMW models, so your service history stays accurate and your warranty is protected.

Most petrol BMWs specify BMW Longlife-04 or LL-17 FE+ approved 0W-30 or 0W-20 fully synthetic oil. Diesel models typically use 5W-30 LL-04. We always use the correct approved grade and reset the CBS oil counter.

BMW M-Sport and M cars use large ventilated discs that wear unevenly if the electronic brake bias is out. We inspect caliper slide pins, electronic brake sensors and disc thickness to manufacturer tolerances on every brake job.
